It is not just a very thorough catalogue of online philosophy papers -
which it is. That would be valuable enough.
You can also configure it so you can easily access online papers through
your library! [There is a little box on the right side of the screen of
most search windows called "Off-campus access." Follow the simple 3-4
step instructions.}
It works! Our library's off-campus access is unnecessary serpentine.
But once I followed the instructions, bam! I can use PhilPapers to
search for papers by subject or journal or author, and then read
virtually (sorry for the pun) every paper online, whether oncampus or
from home.
You can also easily set up alert services (based on subjects, names, or
journals).
